Seattle's Monumental Monuments

Seattle, Washington is one of the most unique and distinguished cities in the US. With all types of amenities,, visitor attractions and opportunities, the community of Seattle has lots to offer to many of us. The town of Seattle is probably one of the preferred holidaymaker spots and is also among the top places to live. Like many other places, Seattle has many tourist attractions and landmarks that appeal to visitors. One of the most fascinating landmarks in the city of Seattle are the monuments in Seattle. The monuments in Seattle offer very interesting perspectives for visitors when visiting in Seattle. The varied Seattle monuments allow visitors to remember a particularly big impression of the city of Seattle.

Smith Tower Observation Deck

This monument is situated on 2nd Avenue and was constructed in 1914. Smith Tower is more popularly known as Seattle's favorite building among both residents and visitors. With the Smith Tower people will be able to get great perspectives of Seattle's waterfront, mountain and downtown areas. One of the distinct features of the Smith Tower is that it happens to be one of the world's tallest buildings and the tallest building in the US outside of New York City. Going to the Smith Tower is well worth the trip.

The Space Needle

This is easily recognizable as of the planet's most noted and distinguished building structures and monuments. It is located on Broad Street and was built in 1962 for the World Fair. This monument is among the most unique and appealing worldwide. People can take the elevator when entering the monument and go up to 525 feet in only 41 seconds. After they get to the top they're going to be ready to get to the observer's platform and see for many miles. The views offered to travellers are the Elliot Bay, Pudget Sound, Lake Union and the total downtown of Seattle. At the Space Needle, patrons who enter the structure may be able to use complimentary Swarovski Telescopes that provide magnified views of Seattle and its surroundings. This monument also has a restaurant named Sky City and a section that shows historic facts about the city.

Boeing Factory

This monument is the home base and production center for the famous Boeing Airplanes. When visiting the factory folks can go on tours and view the 747, 767, and 777 Boeing aeroplanes at their various steps in production. The building is among the largest on the planet. With the Boeing factory, folk will be satisfied to have an inside look in to one of the interesting monuments in Seattle.
